About me
I am a researcher at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena. My research interests are organization theories, especially institutional theories, organizational interpretations, issues, and digital technologies. More specifically, I apply formal text-analysis tools to investigate how organizations interpret issues in their environments, and how these interpretations shape organizational and institutional change (see publications).
Currently, I am member of the international network New Institutionalism, the Digital Humanities Network at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, and the German Informatics Society. Furthermore, I am a member of the Jena Computational Organizational Research Applications (JenCORA) group, whose goal is to develop and provide big-data tools for organizational researchers.
In my free time I like to spend time with analog and digital photography.
